Andrew Ponsler

Co-Founder of West Indy Barbell. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I was a three sport athlete (Hockey, Lacrosse, Baseball). I won the Heart of Indiana Award in 2009 along with a 4A state title. I continued my playing career at Adrian University. I earned my Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology at Adrian and have been training athletes for 8 years. My biggest passion is helping people get to the next level. I have been Olympic and Power lifting for 10 years and have worked with some of the best in the field to learn proper form and programming.

Our Trainers

Darwin Robinson

Born and raised right here in Indianapolis, Darwin knows what it takes to win. Holding a gold and silver medal in submission wrestling and an undefeated amateur MMA record, as well as being an elite power lifter in 2 weight classes. His passion for lifting is only surpassed by his passion for helping others become the strongest version of themselves.

Nash Kegley

Born and raised in indianapollis, IN. Nash started his training career at age 12 at the Baxter YMCA. This Y had a back room where all the barbells, iron, and squat racks were kept. That’s where the big boys went and you had to be 18 to enter. Sadly a tornado took the building down before he was old enough to be allowed in to train. Years later he discovered something much better while visiting Westside Barbell in Columbus, OH. Nash is a Westside Certified Personal Trainer and Athletic Coach and has been doing personal training as well as online coaching using the Conjugate training method. He also competes in Powerlifting and is a State Level Referee for the USPA.
